Extend your Schengen visa
If you are already in the Netherlands and want to extend your Schengen visa, this is not simply possible. It is not easy to extend a Schengen visa when you are already in the Netherlands.
You can have oneShort-stay visa (Schengen visa) only extend inemergencies, for example in case of illness. This is only possible under strict conditions.We make an appointment with the IND for the extension of your Schengen visa and take care of the entire application.

Conditions for extension of Schengen visa
✓ You have a valid travel document, for example a passport.On the new scheduled date of
departure, your passport is still valid for at least 3 months.
✓ Eris a very special and unexpected situation. It is impossible for you to leave the Netherlands
Throughserious illness, force majeure or very important personal reasons. You must explain why
you want to stay longer.
✓ Met the extension of your visa, you will not be in the Schengen area for more than 90 days in total.
Have you been in the Schengen area for 90 days, but cannot leave? Then the visa is done

Then you show that the insurance will pay the costs of the treatment. Or that you pay the costs on one
pay another way.The insurance has coverage of at least €30,000 for medical
costs in the Schengen area and covers at least the following costs:

Costs for return to country of origin for medical reasons.

Urgent medical care.

Emergency treatment in hospital.

✓ You are not a danger to public order, national security or international relations
from one of the Schengen countries.
✓ There are no indications that you have other reasons to extend your visa or free period.
For example, indications that you want to live in the Netherlands illegally.
✓ YOUdoes not work in a way that is not permitted under the Aliens Employment Act.
✓ YOUyou are not a threat to public order or national security.
Cost of procedure
There are costs associated with the extension of a Schengen visa application
to be processed. Thefees of an extension of your Schengen visa€30 per request. You pay these costs to the Immigration and Naturalization Service at the time of the application at the IND desk.
You also pay for the work of Immigration Services the Netherlands. We charge a fixed amount of€149 excluding VAT per Schengen visa extension for the entire application procedure.
Is your application unexpectedly rejected? We will file an objection for you free of charge once your application has been submitted by Immigration Services.
Decision on your request
On the day of the appointment, bring the requested documents with you. The IND will immediately assess your request during the appointment. If the decision is positive and you meet the conditions for the extension of a Schengen visa, you will receive a sticker in your passport as proof of the extension of your Schengen visa.

pay online via one of the payment methods: iDeal (most commonly chosen payment method) PayPal or credit card (Mastercard / Visa).
Step 3 - Confirm
As soon as we have received your registration via our website, we will confirm the order by e-mail
a written order confirmation. After creating the file and confirming the order
we will get started on your case.
You will receive an email from us with what you need to create a file. We store your data in our system. This information will not be provided to third parties and is only intended for the assignment and processing of the necessary forms and documents.
After receiving the necessary documents for the extension of your Schengen visa application, you will receive:within 2 working days the entire application from us. The application can then be submitted at an IND desk in your area.
(!) You must always apply for the application in person at an IND desk and identify yourself to the IND during the appointment. We will arrange the appointment for the change of a Schengen visa application at a nearby IND desk.
