ORANGE CARPET VISA PROGRAM
The Orange Carpet visa program is a business visa and is intended for companies or organizations with employees who often have to travel to the Netherlands due to business relations or foreign companies
with a branch in the Netherlands or vice versa.
Employees accepted into this program can apply for simplified and expedited visas.
This visa gives access to the 26 countries of the Schengen area, including the Netherlands.
Whether you can use the Orange Carpet visa program depends on the country in which your company is located.

What does an Orange Carpet visa entail?
It varies per country whether the Orange carpet visa program can be used. The conditions may also differ per country. The Dutch embassy decides whether the local conditions are met. The benefits of the Orange Carpet program may therefore differ per country. The aim is both an accelerated and simplified procedure.
Applying for an Orange Carpet visa
Only the first time you have to go to the embassy in person for the visa. This is necessary for your biometrics,
to take your fingerprints. It may also be that there is no Dutch embassy, in which case you will have to go to the embassy of another Schengen country for the visa application. The duration of the visa depends on the purpose of the business visa. The purpose and required duration of the visa must therefore be properly substantiated when applying.
A Multiple entry business visa
A multiple-entry visa (MEV) with a validity of 1 to a maximum of 5 years. This is allowedtravel freely within the entire Schengen area and you can also travel in and out of the Schengen area several times. The visa holder does not have to
The 90 days cannot therefore be 'taken' in one go, as is the case with a single-entry visa. If you have a multiple-entry visa, you can travel to the Schengen area as often as you want within the validity period of the visa.
This is practical for business relations who often have to travel in and out. The business visa that is issued allows travel not only within the Netherlands, but within all member states in the Schengen area.
Generally, a multiple-entry visa is issued with a validity of up to 180 days. The total stay within the validity of the visa may not last longer than the period stated on the visa.
Conditions of the Orange Carpet Visa Program
The conditions for the Orange Carpet visa program may also differ per country. For example, you must demonstrate why you often travel (professionally). The Dutch embassy or consulate general will decide whether you meet the local conditions.
Benefits of the Orange Carpet Visa Program
The benefits of the orange carpet program may differ per country. Some examples of the possible benefits:

Apply for an Orange Carpet visa
You can apply for an Orange Carpet visa for the Netherlands at a Dutch embassy or consulate. You can also apply at an embassy of another Schengen country where the Netherlands is represented in the country where you live.
The processing of the visa application takes one or a few days up to a maximum of 15 calendar days. This period can be extended to 30 calendar days if further investigation is necessary. In exceptional cases, an investigation may take up to 60 calendar days.

Conditions for Schengen visa application
✓ You have a valid travel document, for example a passport. The travel document must be submitted after the end of the
visa period is still valid for 3 months. It may also not be older than 10 years.
✓ You have at least €55 per person per day for the duration of your stay in the Netherlands; or someone
in the Netherlands guarantees you.This could be the inviting referent but also a random third party
person. The guarantor hassufficient and sustainable income. The referent uses the formEvidence
of guarantee and/or private accommodation along with the additional documents listed below

✓ You have a (medical) travel insurance taken out in your name. You take out the insurance in your country
of origin (or another country). The person you invite may also take out the insurance for you
The Netherlands. The insurance has coverage of at least €30,000 for medical costs in the
Schengen area and covers at least the following costs:

Costs for return to country of origin for medical reasons.

Urgent medical care.

Emergency treatment in hospital.

✓ You have sufficient reasons to return to your country of origin or residence. For example because you
works there, has (school-age) children or owns their own home. A return ticket alone is not enough.
✓ You are not a danger to public order, national security or international relations
one of the Schengen countries.
Cost of procedure
To aOrange Carpet visa there are costs involved. You pay these costs to VFS Global/the Dutch embassy to process the application.
You also pay for the work of Immigration Services the Netherlands. We charge a fixed amount of €299 excluding VAT per request. We will take care of your application and guide you throughout the entire procedure up to and including your arrival in the Netherlands.
Is your application unexpectedly rejected? We will file an objection for you free of charge once your application has been submitted by Immigration Services.
Register Orange Carpet visa application
Before you place an order, it is wise to first check whether this is possible and whether you meet all the conditions. If you meet all the conditions, you can register via our website.

After receiving the required documents for the application, you will receive the entire application from us within 10 working days. The application can then be submitted toVFS Global or at the Dutch embassy/consulate. Apply at an embassy of another country
which the Netherlands is represented by is also possible.
(!) You must always apply for the visa in person at VFS Global or a Dutch embassy. During the appointment, you identify yourself and hand in your passport to VFS Global or the Dutch embassy. We will arrange the appointment for the application at VFS Global or the Dutch embassy and the application itself. .
